Well Gentlemen,
The 2023 RCMSPL season wrapped up last night.
I would like to congratulate all the teams on a great season and a special congratulations to the winners:
Regular season:
· Division 1 - Sharks
· Division 2 - The Unit
· Division 3 - Royal City Beavers
Playoffs:
· Division 1 - Barzotti
· Division 2 - Superior Steel Roofing
· Division 3 - Royal City Beavers
Brad and I handed out all the prizes to the teams which were:
· 2 bats for the regular season winner
· 1 bat for the regular season runner-up
· Gift cards for Homerun Sports for the Playoff winners and runner-up.
I need to remind everyone that we will be having our Annual General Meeting (AGM) in November. The date and location will be communicated shortly. This will be an in-person meeting as we need all teams to return their keys to us that night. In addition, you will be able to meet your new Exe price as Brad and I are stepping down and this will be our last meeting.
Anyone interested in running for the Executive must submit their intentions at least two weeks prior to the AGM to be considered for the respective roles.
We are looking for a President, Vice-President, and Secretary.
The Treasurer, Statistician and Umpire-In-Chief have all stated they will stay on for at least one more year.
Also, any rule changes that you would like to propose must be submitted in writing at least two weeks prior to the AGM.
We look forward to seeing everyone in person at the AGM.
