RCMSPL Year-end Wrap-up and AGM Notification
Good day everyone,

The RCMSPL 2022 season has come to an end.

While it was a busy year full of challenges for everyone, we successfully made it through together, as a league, with minimal issues along the way.

We would like to thank everyone for their patience and support while we worked our way through the variety of obstacles that we faced this season.

Winners

The Executive would like to congratulate all the regular season and playoff winners this year:

2022

Regular Season Winner

Playoff Champion

Division I

Sharks

Barzotti

Division II

Dad Bods

Superior Steel Roofing Systems

Division III

Royal City Beavers

Regular Season Champions received 2 slo-pitch bats with the 2nd place teams receiving one slo-pitch bat.

Playoff Champions received a $450 gift card for Homerun Sports with the 2nd place teams receiving a $250 gift card.

All prizes have been presented to each team.

Annual General Meeting

It is that time of year again where we must schedule our League’s Annual General Meeting (AGM). The RCMSPL AGM will once again be virtual and has been scheduled for the evening of November 21, 2022 via Zoom.  The link to the Zoom meeting will be sent to all coaches prior to the meeting including the confirmation of the start time.

As stated under Section 7.1 of our Constitution “Suggested change to either the League Constitution or the Rules of Play must be made in writing and provided to the League President at least 14 days prior to the Annual General Meeting. Changes to the Constitution will only be considered at the Annual General Meeting.”

This means that you must have all Constitutional Proposals to me by November 7th, 2022

Light Keys

Light keys will be collected by Brad, same as last year.

Please drop your keys off at Brad’s house, 10 Rosanne St, in his Mailbox which will contain a big red zippered envelope for collection.

To assist with organization and to ensure key return accuracy, please place your key in a separate envelope or zip lock bag with indication of your team name and date of drop off.

Please have your keys to Brad no later than November 21st and Brad will return the keys to the City on behalf of the league.

*Note - Teams failing to return their keys to Brad by November 21st will have the $200 fine applied against their Performance Bond.

If you need to contact Brad for any reason, send him a text at 519-546-6307.

For all other questions or concerns, please contact me (Jon) directly.

A sincere thank you and warm holiday wishes from your RCMSPL Executive.

Jon, Brad and Brandi
